FAQs
Concise answers to common account, kit, data and report questions.

Accounts and plans
Does each genome need its own plan?+
Plans are associated with a specific genome. Your account keeps the status, permissions and eligible services separate.
Can I delete my data?+
Deletion and revocation should be handled through account controls; exact scope and timing will be stated with the production policy.
Data and privacy
Which file formats are supported?+
Self-service upload is closed. Research projects require an agreement with Kepler before data is submitted by the agreed method.
Can third-party apps see my whole genome?+
Apps must declare the data they require and should not receive access beyond that scope without explicit permission.
Reports and responsible use
Are reports medical diagnoses?+
No. Genetic information must be considered with symptoms, family history, environment and qualified professional judgment.
Can results change over time?+
Evidence and analysis versions can change. Important results should retain their date, version and evidence record.
